SYSTEM TO DETECT OBSTACLE AROUND HEAVY MACHINE
To avoid the risk of contact with obstacles in a way that avoids to the greatest extent impeding workability of an operator by setting an appropriate detection area according to the postures of a boom and an arm.SOLUTION: Left and right vertical scanners are provided, which are positioned on the left and right sides of an upper revolving structure across a boom and an arm and can detect obstacles in a vertical plane by emitting laser into the vertical plane, including themselves. And left and right horizontal scanners are provided which are positioned on the left and right sides of the upper revolving structure across the boom and arm and can detect obstacles in a horizontal plane by emitting laser into the horizontal plane, including themselves. In a plane detectable by the vertical scanner, etc. a detection area BL around the boom and a detection area AL around the arm are set according to the attitudes of the boom and the arm detected by a tilt sensor. When an obstacle is detected within the detection area, a movement is performed to avoid contact with the obstacle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】 ブーム及びアームの姿勢に応じた適切な検知エリアの設定により、オペレータの作業性を極力妨げない形で、障害物との接触リスクを回避する。【解決手段】 ブーム及びアームを挟んで上部旋回体の左右に配置され、それぞれ自身を含む垂直面内にレーザを照射して当該垂直面内の障害物を検知可能な左右の垂直スキャナを設ける。また、ブーム及びアームを挟んで上部旋回体の左右に配置され、それぞれ自身を含む水平面内にレーザを照射して当該水平面内の障害物を検知可能な左右の水平スキャナを設ける。前記垂直スキャナなどが検知可能な面内に、傾斜センサにより検知されるブーム及びアームの姿勢に応じて、ブーム周りの検知エリアBL、アーム周りの検知エリアALなどを設定する。前記検知エリア内に障害物を検知したときに、障害物との接触を回避するための動作を行わせる。【選択図】 図5
