OBSTACLE DETECTION SYSTEM AROUND HEAVY MACHINE
To provide an obstacle detection system avoiding contact risk with an obstacle without preventing workability of a worker as much as possible, by setting an appropriate detection area according to the attitude of a boom and an arm.SOLUTION: Right and left vertical scanners are provided which are arranged at the right and the left of a revolving super structure, sandwiching a boom and an arm, and which can detect an obstacle in the vertical face by irradiating the vertical face including themselves with laser. Detection areas BL, BR around the boom and detection areas AL, AR around the boom are set, according to attitudes of the boom and the arm detected by an inclined sensor. When the obstacle is detected within the detection areas, operation for avoiding contact with the obstacle is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】ブーム及びアームの姿勢に応じた適切な検知エリアの設定により、オペレータの作業性を極力妨げない形で、障害物との接触リスクを回避する。【解決手段】ブーム及びアームを挟んで上部旋回体の左右に配置され、それぞれ自身を含む垂直面内にレーザを照射して当該垂直面内の障害物を検知可能な左右の垂直スキャナを設ける。前記垂直スキャナが検知可能な面内に、傾斜センサにより検知されるブーム及びアームの姿勢に応じて、ブーム周りの検知エリアBL、BRと、アーム周りの検知エリアAL、ARとを設定する。前記検知エリア内に障害物を検知したときに、障害物との接触を回避するための動作を行わせる。【選択図】図5
