To provide: an asphalt paving mixture, with which a paved surface having excellent rutting resistance and surface beauty is formed; and an asphalt modifier for straight asphalt to obtain the asphalt paving mixture.SOLUTION: Provided is an asphalt modifier for straight asphalt, comprising a polyester (A) and a polyester (B). The polyester (A) comprises a structural unit of an alcohol component (a-1) and a structural unit of a carboxylic acid component (a-2) where, of a total of 100 mol% of the components, a total content of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component having specific structures is 10 mol% or more. The polyester (B) comprises a structural unit derived from an alcohol component (b-1) and a structural unit derived from a carboxylic acid component (b-2) where of a total of 100 mol% of the components, a total content of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component having aliphatic saturated hydrocarbon skeletons is 20 mol% or more and a total content of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component having specific structures is less than 5 mol%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
