To provide a sanitary ware that has a practical antivirus property and can also prevent a stain from being attached thereto and allows the attached stain to be easily removed therefrom.SOLUTION: A sanitary ware comprises a pottery substrate and a glaze layer formed on the surface of the pottery substrate. The glaze layer contains a metal element as an antivirus agent, and the metal element is present in a spinodal phase separation state on at least the surface of the glaze layer.
