To provide an automatic door capable of efficiently using power during emergency.SOLUTION: An automatic door 100 for assisting an opening operation of a door part 10 at the time of detecting an external force for moving the closed door part 10 in an opening direction comprises: a door engine 40 for controlling the door part 10 to open/close; a battery remaining amount acquisition unit 22 that acquires a battery remaining amount parameter indicating the remaining amount of a battery 70 for supplying power to the automatic door 100 during emergency inhibiting use of a normal power supply 300; and an opening assistance determination unit 23 that determines whether to assist the opening operation according to the battery remaining amount parameter acquired by the battery remaining amount acquisition unit 22 while the automatic door 100 is operating by means of the power from the battery 70. The door engine 40 controls the door part 10 to open/close on the basis of the determination result of the opening assistance determination unit 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
