To provide a method of constructing a device for expelling bats, which can prevent bats from being left in a building or confined therein.SOLUTION: A method 200 of constructing a device for expelling bats includes: a step S203 of forming cuts in a woven wire net to form weaving edges; a step S204 of inclining a plurality of lines, either a plurality of horizontal lines or a plurality of vertical lines formed in the weaving edges so as to form an exit having an opening area wider than an area of a cell of the woven wire net and linear projections comprising a plurality of inclined lines; and a step S206 of attaching the woven wire net with the linear projection formed therein to an access part for bats. This structure allows bats to leave from the exit and prevents or disturbs bats from entering a building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
