METHOD OF LAYING RAILROAD TRACK
To provide a method of laying railroad tracks capable of increasing the efficiency of laying work of railway tracks while reducing the construction period for railway construction, which is advantageous for cost reduction.SOLUTION: The method of laying railroad tracks includes the steps of: laying temporary rails 12A for truck-traveling, onto a place where second permanent rails 12 are to be laid; causing a truck 20 to travel on the temporary rails 12A for truck-traveling to transport precast slabs 42 and first permanent rails 10; using a self-propelled crane 22 that has multiple traveling parts 24 straddling between the temporary rails 12A for truck-traveling, so as to align, onto a location where the first permanent rails 10 are to be laid, the precast slab plates 42 on the carriage 20 to install a first precast slab row 42A; and laying the first permanent rails 10 onto the first precast slab row 42A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
