To provide an auxiliary member for attaching an apparatus capable of attaching apparatuses with different sizes or shapes to a wall hole.SOLUTION: An auxiliary member 100 for attaching an apparatus comprises: a fixed pedestal 110 comprising a fixed portion fixed to a wall 11, a first covering portion 111 covering a part of a wall hole 12 so as to narrow the wall hole 12 in a state where the fixed portion is fixed to the wall 12, and a first opening portion 113 opening inside the first covering portion 111 as a first corresponding attachment hole; and a narrowing member 120 comprising an assembly portion 126 detachably assembled to the fixed pedestal 110, a second covering portion 121 covering a part of the first opening portion 113 so as to narrow the first opening portion 113 in a state where the assembly portion 126 is assembled to the fixed pedestal 110, and a second opening portion 123 opening inside the second covering portion 121 as a second corresponding attachment hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
