To provide a striker mounting jig and a striker mounting method that make it possible to position and fix a striker easily and accurately.SOLUTION: A striker mounting jig 20 is a mounting jig for mounting a striker 12 on a vehicle body 11 of a vehicle 10. The striker mounting jig 20 includes: a mounting jig body portion 21; a jig-side guide portion 23 that is formed on the mounting jig body portion 21 and is aligned with a vehicle-body-side guide portion 22 formed on the vehicle body 11; a striker accommodating portion 24 that is a hole-like part formed in the mounting jig body portion 21 and into which the striker 12 is inserted; and an urging portion 25 that urges the striker 12 inserted in the striker accommodating portion 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
