To obtain a decorative girth capable of realizing miniaturization of an apparent portion while having both a design function and a waterproof function, and a building provided with the decorative girth.SOLUTION: A decorative girth 30 includes a design draining member 30A that blinds more than half of the horizontal joints of vertically adjacent outer wall panels 22A, 22B, and a waterproof draining member 30B located below the design draining member 30A, configured as a separate part from the design draining member 30A, and having a waterproof function against water blowing up on a design surface 24 of the outer wall panel 22A located below. As a result, the decorative girth 30 can have both a design function and a waterproof function, and can realize a reduction in the size of the visible portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】意匠機能と防水機能の両方を有しつつ、見え掛かり部の小型化を実現することができる化粧胴差及びこの化粧胴差を備えた建物を得る。【解決手段】化粧胴差３０は、上下に隣接する外壁パネル２２Ａ，２２Ｂの横目地の半分以上を目隠しする意匠水切り部材３０Ａと、意匠水切り部材３０Ａの下側に位置し、意匠水切り部材３０Ａとは別部品で構成されて、下側に位置する外壁パネル２２Ａの意匠面２４において水の吹き上がりに対して防水機能を有する防水水切り部材３０Ｂと、を含む。これにより、化粧胴差３０は、意匠機能と防水機能の両方を有しつつ、見え掛かり部の小型化を実現することができる。【選択図】図２
