To provide a door leaf which has an operating body and whose vertical frame can be made slim, and a door.SOLUTION: A door leaf 3 includes a glass panel 40, a vertical frame 31 attached to the glass panel 40, and an operating body 50. A notch 45 opened at its longitudinal edge is formed on the glass panel 40. The operating body 50 includes: a latch case 51 attached to the vertical frame 31 and arranged in the notch 45; a latch housed in the latch case 51 so as to be retractable with respect to a hole formed in the vertical frame 31; a handle for operating the latch in and out; an outdoor cover 70B attached to the glass panel 40 covering the notch 45 from the outdoor side; and an interior cover 60B attached to the glass panel 40 covering the notch 45 from the interior side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
