To provide an earth retaining wall core material capable of increasing the shear strength of the earth retaining wall without increasing the thickness of the earth retaining wall.SOLUTION: An earth retaining wall core material 1 is formed by laminating a plurality of plates made of a fiber-reinforced resin containing reinforcing fibers oriented in one direction. The plurality of plates include at least a first plate 11 and a second plate 12 having different angles in the orientation direction of the reinforcing fibers with respect to the longitudinal direction of the plate in plan view. In plan view, an angle A of the second plate 12 in the orientation direction D2 of the reinforcing fibers with respect to the orientation direction D1 of the reinforcing fibers of the first plate 11 is -45° or more and less than 0°, or more than 0° and 45° or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
