To provide a grating and a production method of the grating, wherein the grating has a good balance of the various characteristics of weight, component strength and component stiffness.SOLUTION: A grating 1 comprises a plurality of bearing bars 10 and a plurality of connecting members. The plurality of bearing bars 10 comprises: a vertical plate part 10A that is made of a high-strength steel plate having a yield stress of 295 MPa or more and extends in a vertical direction; a bending part 10K that is connected to an upper end part of the vertical plate part 10A; and a load receiving part 10B that has at least a portion extending in a direction crossing a vertical direction, is connected to the vertical plate part 10A via the bending part 10K, constitutes a part of an upper surface part, and can receive a load acting from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
