POSITION DETECTING DEVICE, WORK MACHINE AND POSITION DETECTING METHOD
To provide a position detecting device suitable for detecting where movable members are located in multiple position ranges, a work machine and a position detecting method.SOLUTION: A position detecting device comprises: a detecting body attached to either a movable member or a support member that swingably supports the movable member; and a first proximity switch and a second proximity switch attached on the other side. The first proximity switch and the second proximity switch are spaced apart in a swinging direction of the movable member. The detecting body approaches to or separates from both the first proximity switch and the second proximity switch in a first swing position range of the movable member, approaches only to the first proximity switch in the second proximity switch in a first swing position range of the movable member, and approaches only to the second proximity switch in a third swing position range of the movable member opposite to the second swing position range, using the first swing position range as a reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
