To calculate a dam water amount at a place away from a console of a control processing facility for dam control.SOLUTION: A dam control assistance device is portable and communicable with a dam control facility 2, and comprises an arithmetic unit 35 as means for acquiring a measurement value of a water storage level of a water reservoir from a water storage level measurement device 22 of the dam control facility 2 and a measurement value of an opening of a gate valve from an input/output device 23 of the dam control facility 2 to calculate a dam water amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
