To provide a woody frame that is easy to take apart and recycle while securing high rigidity.SOLUTION: A skeleton 1 of a building is a woody frame constituted including shaft materials. The skeleton 1 of the building comprises: four vertical shaft materials 11; vertical binding materials 12 interposed between those four vertical materials 11; four second horizontal shaft materials 31; and horizontal binding materials 32 interposed between those four second horizontal shaft materials 31. The vertical shaft materials 11 and vertical binding materials 12 are joined together by the use of at least one of mortising, doweling, adhesives, and coupling hardware.
