To provide a flash switch for an aircraft lavatory unit, which is advantageous for reducing the number of components for the aircraft lavatory unit provided with two types of flash switches, increasing assembling work efficiency, and achieving light weight of the aircraft lavatory unit.SOLUTION: A flash switch 28 comprises: a contact-type first flash switch 32 operated by a push button 40, and a non-contact type second flash switch 34 having a human body sensor. The first and second flash switches 32 and 34 are attached to a single base member 30, and are covered with a single cover 36. As the non-contact type second flash switch 34 can be used, infectious diseases can be advantageously prevented. Even when the non-contact type second flash switch 34 fails, by using the contact-type first flash switch 32, user convenience can be advantageously improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
