To provide a road surface light-emitting device which does not require external power supply and has a power source which is not affected by sunshine conditions.SOLUTION: A road surface light-emitting device 1 which is embedded in a road and emits light has: a housing part 2 which has a rectangular parallelepiped internal space with an open upper surface and is embedded such that the longitudinal direction of the internal space is along the extending direction of the road; a seesaw body 3 which has a pivot member 3D which is installed at the midpoint in the longitudinal direction in the internal space and extends horizontally perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and also has a light-transmitting plate 3A which is swingingly supported by the pivot member 3D and shields the upper surface of the internal space; a pair of power generation devices 5 which are respectively installed in the internal space below the longitudinal ends of the light-transmitting plate 3A and generate power by being transmitted with the swinging movement of the light-transmitting plate 3A; and a luminous body 6 which is installed in the internal space and which emits light by being supplied with power generated by the power generation devices 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
