COATING METHOD OF WATER-BASED ROAD SURFACE MARKING PAINT AND CURING ACCELERATOR FOR WATER-BASED PAINT
To provide a coating method of a water-based road surface marking paint using a curing accelerator which reduces the time required for traffic blockages and regulations during marking work by accelerating post-application curing of the water-based road surface marking paint, of which a minimum amount necessary is used to cure a coating film of the water-based road surface marking paint, and which scatters little.SOLUTION: In a coating method in which a water-based road surface marking paint containing synthetic resin emulsion as a main component is applied to a road surface, and a curing accelerator is brought into contact with the applied water-based road surface marking paint, the curing accelerator is an aqueous solution whose viscosity is adjusted with a water-soluble metal salt and a viscosity modifying agent, and its viscosity is lower than that of water-based road surface marking paint and is in the range of 10 mPa s or more, so that the curing accelerator accelerates the curing of the road surface marking paint after application, reducing the time required for traffic blockages and restrictions during marking work, and a minimum amount necessary of it is used for curing the coating film of water-based road surface marking paint, and it scatters little.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】水性路面標示塗料の塗布後の硬化を促進させ、マーキング工事における交通遮断や規制などの時間を短縮するとともに、水性路面標示塗料の塗膜の硬化に必要最小限の使用量で、飛散が少ない硬化促進剤による水性路面標示塗料の塗布方法を提供する。【解決手段】合成樹脂エマルションを主成分とする水性路面標示塗料を路面上に塗布し、その塗布した水性路面標示塗料に硬化促進剤を接触させる塗布方法において、前記硬化促進剤が水溶性金属塩と粘性調整剤により粘度を調整した水溶液で、その粘度が水性路面標示塗料より低く、10mPa・s以上の範囲であることにより、路面標示塗料の塗布後の硬化を促進させ、マーキングのための工事における交通遮断や規制などの時間を短縮するとともに、水性路面標示塗料の塗膜の硬化に必要最小限の使用量で、飛散が少ない硬化促進剤となる。【選択図】図1
