To provide a joining method suitable in performing joining processing between materials more easily.SOLUTION: A joining device 1 performs joining processing through transmission of sound energy by a resonance part 11 with a granular metal body group 7 sandwiched between a first member 3 and a second member 5. Surfaces to be joined that the member have may be in a plane shape, a shape having its edge formed along an outer periphery, etc. Further, a plurality of layers of granular metal bodies may be present in a plurality of stages, and the joining processing may be performed on a layer of those granular metal bodies individually or simultaneously. 【課題】 より簡易に材料間の接合処理を実現することに適した接合方法などを提供する。【解決手段】 接合装置1は、第1部材3と第2部材5との間に粒状金属体群7が挟まれて保持されている状態で、共振部11が音エネルギーを伝達して接合処理を行う。部材において接合する面は、平面状や、外周に沿って縁が形成された形状などであってもよい。また、粒状金属体の層を複数存在させて複数段にして、これらの粒状金属体の層に対して各別に接合処理を行っても、同時に接合処理を行ってもよい。また、粒状金属体群7が第1部材と第2部材の上や下にある状態で接合処理を行ってもよい。【選択図】 図1
