OPENING/CLOSING BODY DEVICE AND POWER SUPPLY METHOD FOR OPENING/CLOSING BODY DEVICE
To enable, without significantly increasing equipment cost and maintenance work, an opening/closing body to be easily operated even when no power is supplied from a commercial power supply during blackout.SOLUTION: An opening/closing body device has: opening/closing means provided on a periphery of an opening; an opening/closing machine for electrically activating the opening/closing means; control means for electrically controlling activation of the opening/closing means by driving the opening/closing machine; and power supply means for supplying power to the control means. The power supply means has: a first connector connected to a commercial power supply; a connection cable which has a second connector connected to the first connector and is connected to the control means; and a cable for external power supply, which has a third connector to which the second connector of the connection cable is connected at one end thereof and a fourth connector connected to an output terminal of the external power supply at the other end thereof. The second connector of the connection cable is configured to be connected to the third connector of the cable for external power supply so that power is supplied from the external power supply to the control means when power is not supplied from the commercial power supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
