To provide eaves for buildings that prevent water from penetrating between building eaves and a building frame.SOLUTION: A base frame 20 comprises a vertical piece 26 fixed to a wall 70 of a building frame and a horizontal piece 27 protruding forward from the vertical piece 26. The vertical piece 26 is fixed in contact with the wall 70 of the building frame without any gap, and the horizontal piece 27 comprises a support surface 27g supporting the lower surface of the eave plate 11 so as to incline upward as moving forward, and a gutter groove 27c formed at the rear end 11a of the eave plate 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
