To enhance the piezoelectric property regardless of use of a lead-free piezoelectric material composition.SOLUTION: An piezoelectric element according to an embodiment thereof comprises: a piezoelectric element layer containing a first substance and a second substance surrounded by a layer of the first substance; a first electrode part disposed on a first face of the piezoelectric element layer; and a second electrode part disposed on a second face of the piezoelectric element layer opposed to the first face. The piezoelectric element layer contains a composition given by 0.96(NaaK1-a)(Nbb(T1-b))O3-(0.04-x)MZrO3-x(BicAg1-c)ZrO3+dmol%NaNbO3.
