To provide a light control device and a light control sheet which can switch a degree of transmission of infrared light.SOLUTION: A light control sheet 10 comprises: a first transparent electrode layer 31 and a second transparent electrode layer 32; and a light control layer 20 which includes a liquid composition being a chiral nematic liquid crystal having the positive dielectric anisotropy. The processing executed by a control unit 60 of the light control device 100 includes: controlling the voltage between transparent electrode layers 31, 32 to be a first voltage and bringing the light control sheet 10 into a first state in which the light control sheet reflects the infrared light and transmits the visible light; controlling the voltage between the transparent electrode layers 31, 32 to be a second voltage and bringing the light control sheet 10 into a second state in which the light control sheet scatters the infrared light and the visible light; and controlling the voltage between the transparent electrode layers 31, 32 to be a third voltage and bringing the light control sheet 10 into a third state in which the light control sheet transmits the infrared light and the visible light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
