To provide a brown rice storage device and a brown rice storage method which can store brown rice in the state where influence of a change of an outside air temperature is reduced.SOLUTION: A brown rice storage device 1 includes a storage part 2, a carrying-in part 3, and a carrying-out part 4. The storage part 2 includes a plurality of storage tanks 21, 21... that are densely arranged, each of the storage tanks 21, 21... is formed such that height dimension is larger than width dimension, the storage part 2 is constituted such that four side faces, upper surfaces and lower surfaces of the plurality of storage tanks 21, 21... are surrounded with a heat insulation material 22, and on at least any surface of the heat insulation material 22, there are opened a heat insulation opening 22a through which an upper lateral feed conveyance device 33 for feeding brown rice to the plurality of storage tanks 21, 21... from the outside penetrates in the carrying-in part 3, and a heat insulation material carrying-out port 22b through which a lower lateral feed conveyance device 41 for carrying-out brown rice discharged by the plurality of storage tanks 21, 21... to the outside penetrates in the carrying-out part 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
