BALL TYPE FIRE HYDRANT AND BALL VALVE
To provide a ball-type fire hydrant that suppresses pressure loss when a valve opens and ensures a sufficient flow rate, and a ball valve that can be applied to the valve to suppress spray from an outflow side, wherein the ball-type fire hydrant maintains overall compactness, suppresses straight and diffuse spray from an outflow side when the valve opens, allows water to flow while preventing the water from scattering to a surrounding area, and also make it possible to wash a secondary side piping material with de-energized water.SOLUTION: An annular body 10 having a communication part 42 for flow rate adjustment is provided on an outflow side of a ball valve body 1, an inner periphery of the annular body 10 is brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the ball valve body 1, an annular water passage 40 is formed by the annular body 10 and the ball valve body 1 according to a degree of opening from a slight opening when the ball valve body 1 starts to open to a small opening, and flow rate adjustment becomes possible by dissipating energy of water filled in the annular water passage 40 through the communication part 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】弁開時の圧力損失を抑えて流量を確保したボール式消火栓であり、全体のコンパクト性を維持しつつ弁開動作時の流出側からの直線及び拡散状態の噴き出しを抑えて周囲への飛散を防止した状態で流水させることができ、減勢させた水により二次側配管機材の洗浄も可能になる。延いてはバルブに適用して流出側からの噴き出しを抑えることができるボールバルブを提供する。【解決手段】ボール弁体1の流出側に流量調整用の連通部42を有する環状体10を設け、この環状体10の内周をボール弁体1の外周面に接触させると共に、ボール弁体1が開き始めたときの微開度から小開度に応じて環状体10とボール弁体1とで円環状通水路40を形成し、この円環状通水路40に充水された水を連通部42を介して、減勢させながら流量調整できるようにした。【選択図】 図4
