To provide a shutter suitable for opening and closing an opening having a wider upper opening and a narrower lower opening.SOLUTION: An opening to be closed by a shutter curtain 1' includes a wider upper opening, a narrower lower opening, and an intermediate opening located between the upper opening and the lower opening, which is narrower than the upper opening and wider than the lower opening. The shutter curtain 1' includes a wide upper part 10, a narrower lower part 11, and an intermediate part 12 that is located below the upper part 10 and is located at the same height as the upper part of the lower part 11 in a fully closed state. Height of the upper part 10 is configured to be variable depending on which of an extended state and a folded state is taken, and height of the lower part 11 is configured to be variable depending on which of an extended state and a folded state is taken, and height dimension of the intermediate portion 12 remains unchanged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 36
