To provide a spacer which has an excellent compatibility with concrete, can be easily fitted and is not removed by vibration by a vibrator during concrete pouring.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 1 assists an instalment work of a plurality of vertical reinforcements Z1 and horizontal reinforcements, and comprises a fastening member 3 in a substantially channel-shape or a substantially U-shape and fixed to the vertical reinforcement Z1 and a bolt member 4 for clamping the vertical reinforcement Z1 inside the fastening member 3. A female screw part with which the bolt member 4 is screwed is formed at the fastening member 3, the bolt member 4 clamps the vertical reinforcement Z1 between a tip of the bolt member 4 and an inside surface of the fastening member 3 to fix the fastening member 3 to the vertical reinforcement Z1 by screwing with the female screw part, and in a state where the vertical reinforcement Z1 is fixed between the tip of the bolt member 4 and the inside surface of the fastening member 3, a base end of the bolt member 4 protrudes from the fastening member 3 and the horizontal reinforcement can be placed on a shank of the bolt member 4 protruding from the fastening member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
