To provide a window shutter of a type that includes no draining plate at the lower end of a side frame capable of improving the wind pressure resistance.SOLUTION: Provided is the window shutter with a shutter curtain 5 for opening/closing a space formed with a shutter storage housing provided to a building frame protruding outdoor, left and right side frames, and a floor FL. The side frame includes a guide rail base frame 3 and a guide rail 4, and a reinforcing member 7 is provided to connect the lower end portions of the sides 30 of the guide rail base frame 3. The reinforcing member 7 is placed on the floor FL, and the longitudinal end portions are fixed to the guide rail base frame 3 via a connecting fitting 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】側枠の下端に水切り板を備えていないタイプの窓シャッターにおいて、耐風圧性能を向上させる。【解決手段】躯体に持ち出し状に設けたシャッター収納部及び左右の側枠と、床面ＦＬと、で形成される空間をシャッターカーテン５が開閉する窓シャッターにおいて、側枠はガイドレール下地枠３とガイドレール４とからなり、ガイドレール下地枠３の側辺３０の下端部位間を接続する補強部材７が設けてあり、補強部材７は、床面ＦＬに載置状態で長さ方向端部が、連結金具８を介してガイドレール下地枠３に固定されている。【選択図】図１
