To provide a water cutoff device of a high reliability which functions as a passage in normal time not necessary to stop flooding, and prevents water flooding by reliably erecting water cutoff plates by buoyant force, when sudden flooding occurs by disasters.SOLUTION: A water cutoff device 1 comprises: an elastically deformable hinge body 11 extending in the span direction of a water cutoff plate 10 to support the water cutoff plate 10 to be freely raised and lowered; a hinge fitting plate 12 integrally extending from the water cutoff plate 10 and having a lower face to which an upper end part 50 of the hinge body 11 is fixed; and hinge support means 13 which, in a course from a lowered state of the water cutoff plate 10 to a raised state, regulates movement of the hinge body 11 including the hinge fitting plate 12 toward the hydraulic pressure direction, and, in a rising state of the water cutoff plate 10, regulates the movement of the hinge body 11 including the hinge fitting plate 12 toward the hydraulic pressure direction and the vertical direction. Thus, the reliability of the cutoff device 1 can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】浸水を止める必要がない常時は、通路として機能し、災害などにより突発的な浸水が発生した場合には、浮力により確実に止水板が起立動作して水の浸入を防止する信頼性の高い止水装置を提供する。【解決手段】止水装置1は、止水板10を起伏自在に支持すべく、該止水板10の径間方向に沿って延び、弾性変形自在のヒンジ体11と、止水板10から一体的に延び、下面にヒンジ体11の上端部50が固定されるヒンジ取付板12と、止水板10の倒伏状態から起立状態に至る過程においては、ヒンジ取付板12を含むヒンジ体11の水圧方向への移動を規制すると共に、止水板10の起立状態においては、ヒンジ取付板12を含む前記ヒンジ体11の水圧方向及び鉛直方向への移動を規制するヒンジ支持手段13と、を備えている。これにより、止水装置1としての信頼性を向上させることができる。【選択図】図3
