To provide a swivel work machine that allows reduction in impact load to equipment mounted on a swivel base.SOLUTION: A swivel work machine is provided with: a swivel base; a battery unit placed on the rear part of the swivel base; a work device that is arranged on the front side of the swivel base and driven using power output from the battery unit; a rear external cover that is arranged on the rear part of the swivel base to cover the rear side of the machine body in a space in which the battery unit is placed; and reinforcement members that is arranged toward the inside of the machine body of the rear external cover to prevent deformation toward the inside of the machine body of the rear external cover due to external force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
