To calculate and output bridge abutment placement positions.SOLUTION: It includes abutment placement means for placing an abutment model at a measurement point position on a road alignment, road surface generation means for generating a road surface based on a road center line, road surface moving means for moving the road surface by the height of the bridge abutment and moving the road surface by the bridge seat width + front footing width in a direction perpendicular to the front of the bridge abutment model, terrain surface moving means for copying the terrain surface around the measurement point position of the bridge abutment model and moving it in a direction perpendicular to the footing, polyline generation means for identifying an intersection position between the moved road surface and the moved terrain surface and generating a polyline at the intersection position, shortest distance obtaining means for obtaining the shortest distance between the polyline and the front surface of the footing of the bridge abutment model, placement position determining means for changing the measurement point position of the bridge abutment model so that the front surface of the footing is located at the obtained shortest distance position, and determining the measurement point position as a placement position according to the height of the bridge abutment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
