To provide a sanitary washing device that can quickly spray hot-water.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device 100 comprises: a nozzle device 110 that sprays water; a heating device 115 that heats the water supplied to the nozzle device 110; an incoming water temperature sensor 113 that measures a temperature of the water supplied to the heating device 115; a water stop solenoid valve 112 that determines whether or not to supply the water to the heating device 115; and a control device 150 that controls the sanitary washing device 100, wherein the control device 150 comprises: a water stop solenoid valve control unit 151 that opens the water stop solenoid valve 112 after a person is seated; a temperature acquisition unit 152 that acquires an inlet water temperature indicating the temperature of the water after opening the water stop solenoid valve 112 from the inlet water temperature sensor 113; and a heating control unit 153 that controls the heating device 115 in a heat retention mode for heating the water remaining in the heating device 115 after the water stop solenoid valve 112 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
