CHROMIA-CONTAINING CASTABLE REFRACTORY
To provide a castable refractory capable of being dried in a short time in addition to having excellent explosion resistance, spalling resistance, heat resistance and corrosion resistance, wherein the formation of hexavalent chromium is suppressed.SOLUTION: A castable refractory mainly comprises alumina and/or mullite, contains 3 to 85 mass% of Cr2O3 and is formed by being kneaded with a silica sol having 30 to 40 mass% of SiO2 solid content. It is preferable that the Cr2O3 content is 3 to 30 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】優れた耐爆裂性、耐スポーリング、耐熱性及び耐食性を有することに加えて、短時間で乾燥させることができ、更に、六価クロムの生成が抑制されるキャスタブル耐火物を提供する。【解決手段】アルミナ及び／又はムライトを主成分とし、３～８５質量％のＣｒ２Ｏ３を含有し、ＳｉＯ２固形分が３０～４０質量％であるシリカゾルで混練されていること、を特徴とするキャスタブル耐火物。Ｃｒ２Ｏ３の含有量は３～３０質量％であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
