MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MODIFIED RECYCLED AGGREGATE AND MODIFIED RECYCLED AGGREGATE
To provide a manufacturing method of a modified recycled aggregate useful for reducing a carbon dioxide gas, the method obtaining a dense modified recycled aggregate with improved water absorption at a low energy consumption from a concrete mass, and also to provide a modified recycled aggregate having a dense structure with improved water absorption.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a modified recycled aggregate includes: a first step of obtaining a recycled aggregate having a water absorption over 3.0% from a crushed matter with a particle diameter 40 mm or less obtained by crushing or milling a concrete mass; and a second step of applying a carbonation treatment to the recycled aggregate obtained at the first step to obtain a modified recycled aggregate containing a calcium carbonate and a silicon dioxide.
