To utilize a multi-functional portable information terminal possessed by a user in operation of a shovel.SOLUTION: A shovel has a lower traveling body 1, an upper turning body 3 turnably mounted on the lower traveling body 1, a cabin 10 provided on the upper turning body 3, a driver seat provided on the cabin 10, and a mounting part 54 which is provided in the vicinity of the driver seat and acts as a holding part for mounting a multi-functional portable information terminal 40 as a portable terminal. In a state in which the multi-functional portable information terminal 40 is arranged in the mounting part 54, power can be supplied to the multi-functional portable information terminal 40 from a power source part of the shovel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
