To provide a display device capable of allowing a user to check the content of an error without performing complicated operations, and a working machine including the same.SOLUTION: A display device 9 includes a display unit 91, a reception unit 92, and a control unit 93. The display unit 91 displays a first screen 510 that has a selection item display area 511. The reception unit 92 receives an instruction to select a selection item T displayed on the selection item display area 511. The control unit 93 controls the selection item display area 511 to display an alarm mark image 620 based on a piece of alert information indicating that an error has occurred. The control unit 93 is configured so as to, when the alarm mark image 620 is displayed on the selection item display area 511, assign a function to receive an alarm mark selection instruction that is an instruction to select the alarm mark image 620 to the reception unit 92. The control unit 93 is configured so as to, when the reception unit 92 receives an alarm mark selection instruction, control the display unit 91 to display a second screen 520 representing the content of the error.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
