To provide a scaffold member for indoor work that hardly collapses even when stacked up as a scaffold.SOLUTION: There is provided a scaffold member 10 which comprises a main body 11 in a rectangular parallelepiped shape and a coating layer 12 provided on a surface thereof. The main body 11 is made of a solid foamed resin molding. The coating layer 12 is provided on all surfaces of the main body 11. The coating layer 12 is made of nonflammable synthetic resin. A scaffold 1 for indoor work is assembled by stacking up two or more scaffold members 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
