To provide a scaffold member, a scaffold, and a method for expanding the scaffold capable of improving workability when expanding the scaffold.SOLUTION: A scaffold member is provided with a flanged single pipe having a single pipe body part connected in the horizontal direction and a plurality of flanges provided at a predetermined interval on the outer periphery of the single pipe body part, and a hooked scaffold plate arranged so as to bridge between the two flanged single pipes and hooking a hook on the single pipe body part of the first flanged single pipe and hooking another hook on the single pipe body part of the second flanged single pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
