JOINT STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF BEAM END JOINT PORTION
To maximize an effect of preventing breakage of an upper flange when dividing a backing metal at an upper flange side at a beam end joint portion.SOLUTION: In a joint structure of a beam end joint portion in which an H-shaped cross-sectional beam having an upper flange, a lower flange, and a web is joined to a member to be joined: an end of the upper flange in a material axis direction is joined to the member to be joined by a first weld; an end of the lower flange in the material axis direction is joined to the member to be joined by a second weld; a backing metal brough into contact with a bottom of an external beveling formed in the first weld is divided into both sides in a width direction of the web; an end surface at the upper flange side of the web constitutes the beveling bottom in a part where the end at the upper flange side of the web is in contact with the first weld; and a scallop avoiding the second weld is formed at the end at the lower flange side of the web.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
