To provide a construction method a shock absorbing floor structure having a joint portion in which the edges of floor sheet materials can be easily welded, and which has a good appearance and sufficient strength.SOLUTION: The construction method a shock absorbing floor structure includes a step of forming a base layer C by laying a plurality of shock absorbing materials 1 on a laying surface B; and a step of forming a surface layer D on the base layer C by laying a plurality of floor sheet materials 3 on the base layer C and joining adjacent edges 3a, 3a of the floor sheet material 3, 3. In the step of forming the base layer C, the plurality of shock absorbing materials 1 are laid on the laying surface B while interposing a spacer member 2 extending in the first direction between the shock absorbing materials 1.
