To provide a device and a method capable of safely and smoothly performing work such as lift-up and jack-down of a heavy object such as a bridge even if there is a building construction limit.SOLUTION: In a device for erecting a heavy object, in which upper stage lifting beams 23 and lower stage lifting beams 24 are fitted to a plurality of columns 20 to be movable up and down, and a heavy object 27 is mounted on a loading stage 25 mounted on at least one of the beams to be moved up and down, the column 20 is formed by connecting a plurality of column units 20a within a vertical movement range of the loading stage 25, the loading stage 25 is vertically moved sequentially in units of the lengths of the column unit 20a while alternately receiving the load of the heavy object 27 while being fitted to the column 20 with the expanding and contracting operation of a jack 43 provided between the upper stage lifting beams 23 and the lower stage lifting beams 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】建築限界があっても、安全、かつ円滑に橋梁等の重量物の扛上・扛下等の作業が行えるようにした装置及び方法を提供すること。【解決手段】複数本の支柱20に上段昇降梁23と下段昇降梁24を上下動自在に嵌合し、これらの少なくともいずれか一方に取り付けた積載ステージ25に重量物27を載せて上下移動するようにした重量物の架設装置において、前記支柱20は、前記積載ステージ25の上下移動範囲内に複数個の支柱ユニット20aを連結したものからなり、前記上段昇降梁23と下段昇降梁24の間に設けたジャッキ43の伸縮動作で前記支柱20に嵌合しつつ前記重量物27の荷重を交互に受け渡しつつ前記支柱ユニット20aの長さ単位で順次前記積載ステージ25を上下移動するようにした。【選択図】図1
