To provide a building member taking a sound insulation effect into consideration in addition to a heat insulation effect.SOLUTION: A building member 1 exposed to the outside is provided with a Galvalume steel plate(R) 2 having one surface placed on a surface exposed to the outside, and a heat shielding sheet 3 as a lining material bonded to the other surface of the Galvalume steel plate(R) 2. The heat shielding sheet 3 includes at least a glass fiber layer 7 as a sound insulation layer bonded to the other surface of the Galvalume steel plate(R) 2, and an aluminum layer 11 bonded to the glass fiber layer 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
