INSTALLATION METHOD FOR NEWLY INSTALLED PROTECTIVE FENCE AND PROTECTIVE FENCE STRUCTURE
To provide an installation method for a newly installed protective fence by which a newly installed protective fence for vehicles, etc., can be easily installed at the installation position of an existing protective fence for pedestrians, bicycles, etc.SOLUTION: The present invention is directed to an installation method for a newly installed protective fence for installing a newly installed protective fence 2 at a protective fence installation position where an existing protective fence 1 is installed. The existing protective fence 1 includes a plurality of existing supports 11 that are fixed with intervals along the protective fence installation position, and an existing lower crosspiece to be installed between adjacent existing supports. The newly installed protective fence 2 includes a plurality of newly installed supports 4 having lower crosspiece storage recess portions capable of storing the existing lower crosspieces. Storing the existing lower crosspiece in the lower crosspiece storage recess portion of a newly installed support 2 without removing the existing protective fence 1 prevents the newly installed support 2 from interfering with the existing lower crosspiece and fixes the plurality of newly installed supports 2 with intervals along the protective fence installation position between the adjacent existing supports, while a newly installed cross member is installed between the newly installed supports.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
