To provide a connection structure for steel pipe members and a connection method for steel pipe members, capable of eliminating on-site welding work.SOLUTION: A connection structure for steel pipe members comprises a first connection member having a first joint member and a second joint member, and a plurality of second connection members configured to be removably attached to the first connection member. The first joint member has a first fixed end part, a first connection end part, and a first groove. The second joint member has a second fixed end part, a second connection end part, and a second groove. The second connection member has a first convex part inserted into and engaged with the first groove, a second convex part inserted into and engaged with the second groove, and an engagement connection part connecting the first convex part and the second convex part in a first direction. In a state where the plurality of second connection members is attached to the first connection member, a first steel pipe member and a second steel pipe member are connected by fastening a connection corner part of one second connection member and a connection corner part of another second connection member with a fastening member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
