To provide a gas spring stopper which can be easily attached to/detached from a gas spring, without the trouble of storage space when detached.SOLUTION: A gas spring stopper comprises: a first stopper piece 20 and a second stopper piece 30 formed by splitting a cylindrical body in a longer direction; and a hinge part 40. The first stopper piece 20 and the second stopper piece 30 are each provided with: first support pieces 22, 32 that abut on a joint part 106 positioned at a tip of a rod part 102, out of the rod part 102 and a cylinder part 104 constituting a gas spring 100; second support pieces 24, 34 that abut on an end face of the cylinder part 104; and a support piece body 36 that covers a lateral face of the rod part 102, between the first support pieces 22, 32 and the second support pieces 24, 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
