To improve security by avoiding falsification of current time while suppressing the replacement frequency of a battery.SOLUTION: An authentication device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: an antenna unit that generates power by an electromagnetic wave output from an electronic device and acquires expiration date information and first authentication information from the electronic device; a clock unit that generates current time information; a power supply unit that supplies power to the clock unit; and an authentication unit that operates by using the power generated by the antenna unit and performs authentication based on the expiration date information and the first authentication information acquired by the antenna unit, the current time information generated by the clock unit, and second authentication information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
