To provide a piping member and a rain gutter system which easily achieve both good design and good drainage performance.SOLUTION: A piping member attached between a first piping extending horizontally and a DL-type elbow comprises: a straight pipe portion having a first opening and a second opening; and a fin protruding from an inner peripheral surface of the straight pipe portion and extending in a circular motion about a central axis of the straight pipe portion from the first opening toward the second opening. A height of the fin in a radial direction of the straight pipe portion as viewed from a direction of the central axis of the straight pipe portion is 30% or more and 50% or less of an inner diameter of the straight pipe portion. The fin has a first end on the first opening side and a second end on the second opening side. As viewed from the direction of the central axis of the straight pipe portion, an angle between a straight line connecting the first end and the central axis of the straight pipe portion and a straight line connecting the second end and the central axis of the straight pipe portion is 140 degrees or larger and 180 degrees or smaller. The second end of the fin is in a portion of the straight pipe portion located within a receiving port of the DL-type elbow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
