To provide a protective fence for an automatic door and an automatic door device, which suppress an opportunity for a door tail of a second door to come in contact with a person.SOLUTION: An automatic door device 1 includes a first door 10 driven to open and close, a protective panel 30 that is disposed in parallel with the first door and moves in linkage with the first door 10, and a second door 20 that is disposed between the first door 10 and the protective panel 30, positioned on a door end side of the first door 10 when being fully closed, and driven to open and close in linkage with the first door 10. The protective panel 30 has wheels 40 for traveling on a rail 8 disposed on a floor 3. The wheels 40 are disposed at positions other than a door end 33 of a bottom part 31 of the protective panel 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
