To provide a method for conducting water washing processing of a chlorine-containing fine particle more efficiently.SOLUTION: A water washing processing method of a chlorine-containing fine particle provided herein includes: a mixing step of introducing a chlorine-containing fine particle and water to a continuous type solid-liquid mixing device, followed by mixing; and a dehydrating step of dehydrating a slurry containing the chlorine-containing fine particle and the water discharged from the continuous type solid-liquid mixing device, wherein the continuous type solid-liquid mixing device has a mixing processing area for accommodating the chlorine-containing fine particle and the water to be introduced to the device, and mixing of the chlorine-containing fine particle and the water in the mixing step is conducted in a manner that a retention time of the slurry containing the chlorine-containing fine particle and the water in the mixing processing area is controlled to be 0.1 s or over and 120 s or under.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
